Just in time for some last minute holiday shopping, I decided to put together a little gift guide for anyone shopping for their favorite booknerd. I wanted to specifically highlight some small businesses I've stumbled across recently on Etsy that I feel deserve some love.

Disclaimer: None of these are affiliated links nor have I been reached out to or compensated by any of these shops. This is just a for-fun post about some cute items I have organically stumbled upon while perusing Etsy.

Personalized Blind Date With a Book Box by BeyondTheTrope

Blind dates with a book are becoming increasingly popular, but I think this shop really nails the wow-factor with gorgeous packaging full of lots of goodies. The shop has several box themes to choose from, and I really like that you can choose the book genre separate from the aesthetic theme selection. Along with a surprise book, your giftee also receives annotation supplies, stickers, double-sided bookmarks, fuzzy socks, and a cozy warm drink and coaster. The downside of purchasing ready-made boxes is that you don’t actually know what book you are delivering to your loved one, so there’s always the chance they may receive a book they have already read, so keep that in mind if your reader is particularly voracious in a given genre.

Stained Glass Mug by Lelorestore

I have yet to meet a book dragon that does not appreciate a warm beverage. I’m pretty sure it would be illegal not to. Though we all have far too many mugs, we always appreciate more adorable vessels of warm comfort. This shop makes the most stunning stained-glass bookish mugs. I love how opalescent the printed images come out on the mugs. I could just stare at them all day. The store also makes bookish phone cases which look just as gorgeous.

Suncatcher by ChubbyGift

Glass art is just so beautiful. I’d have a small business suncatcher in every window of my home if my poor wallet could support the behavior. These bookish suncatchers are so cheery and vibrant. A lot of artsy Christmas gifts tend to be… well, too Christmassy in my experience. You hate to get something Christmas-themed on Christmas day just to pack it all up and forget about the gift for an entire year. This sunny piece can be out on display year-round.

Reading Tracker by VinartsVn

Shelf decor is always welcome in my stocking, and these picturesque wooden book trackers are too adorable to pass up. I haven’t met a reader that doesn’t love a good chunk of data. We keep up with our Goodreads challenge, spreadsheets, and reading journals. What more could a gal want but an adorable physical representation of her reading progress throughout the year? My bookshelves are my trophy case. This little guy would fit in just fine.

Watercolor Book Marks  by MirkwoodScribes

I’m such a sucker for rich watercolor pieces. These bookmarks are simply remarkable. This shop is full of gorgeous bookmarks featuring black cats, bookshops, forest animals, and more. It also has a bundle deal so you can have a bookmark to add to every gift bag this year. Miranda’s art style is so incredibly stunning. I highly recommend visiting her Instagram page as well!

Victorian Style Bookish Art Prints by FineArtPrintCo

And speaking of stunning art, these Victorian-style bookish prints are to die for. They’re just the right amount of dreary and moody to evoke the coziness of a rainy reading day. I would happily hang many of this artist’s prints all over my home, but especially near my favorite reading nooks. You do need to know your loved one’s decor tastes before buying them a print like this, but there are many other artists selling bookish prints out there to suit a variety of tastes. This shop just happens to make my little heart sing.
